1. When i attach the intercooler to my xbox 360, the 360 did not turn on after i attached it.....sooo what i did was take out the intercooler and try turning it on without the cooler,,,and it worked...but should i exchange the intercooler for the same one? orrr just return it becauseeeee.......(read question 2)
2. i heard many bad things about the intercooler for the xbox 360. that is melts yo 360 and destroys the console. also i heard good things about the coolers....sooo what is the true thing about these coolers?...do they melt or do they work good?
p.s: i hav a Nyko Intercooler EX for the xbox360
thanksI got one a couple of days ago and I took it back after I read some peoples testimony online. Apparently the Intercooler will use up to much power inside the xbox, which kills it eventually. You see, the intercooler is run by the power of the 360 itself and the xbox 360 has just enough power inside to run itself, let alone an intercooler. I would skip it, to tell you the truth, I don't think 360's really need intercoolers if you store them in a good place.I was also thinking about getting the Nyko Intercooler for my Xbox, but i heard so pretty shocking things about it, yes it does eventually "Kill" your xbox by melting the back power supply. My suggestion is that you return it for another cooler, one that has a fan that goes underneath your xbox, because it doesnt run on the back power supply ( I think it runs on USB Port on back of the 360 and still lets the Wireless Adapter work) not only will it cool the xbox, but it will most likely not melt, and it gives the xbox more stability, now this is only if your Xbox is standing up, if it is laying down you might want to exchange the cooler for a new one, because supposively Nyko fixed the melting on the black one, not on the white one.
Good Luck, Happy Gaming!
