Nintendo Wii..?

I was thinking about potentially buying one. Mostly for like sports games and also that new Fire Emblem game. I just love the Fire Emblem series because of the game boy advance games (blazing sword, sacred stones). Do you guys think it's a good idea to buy the Wii for sports games / Fire Emblem? And if you have played the new Fire Emblem, do you recommend and can you tell me how it is? Thanks.We rented the Fire Emblem game for the Wii and didn't feel it quite compared with "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess", but it's still pretty impressive! The graphics are great, controls are fairly tight, and the storyline seems decent. We didn't keep it long enough to play all the way through but we do plan on buying it once we get through some of the rest of the games we bought first.

The sports games? Well, my husband and I personally aren't really into those type of games, but we've found them to be a good form of entertainment when we have company and family members come to visit. The sports games are a fun way to introduce them to the Wii, and provide an alternative to playing cards or board games. Easy to learn and entertaining to play.

It's gotten good reviews so yes, I would definitely recommend it.Well i havent played the fire emblem game but i do like the look of it. As for the sport part thats what the wii is best at. It picks up the movement of your wii remote so yea i think you should. Hope this helps..Wii sports comes with the wii. Some people don't read the fine print.I wouldn't, unless you have the money to spare. I haven't played Fire Emblem but Wii Sports was boring after 10 minutes. The Wii is currently not the system to get if you're a hard-core gamer, unless you can't live without Nintendo games. If you're a casual or new gamer, then you'll probably like it.There not manny sports games for the wii right now
