hi i have a pair of bose 2 way bookshelf speakers and i droped one of them and the tweeter riped it is a paper tweeter and it riped it still works fine and dont sound any diffarent but i want to fix it how do i do this? someone told me to out scoch tape on it and then go over the scoch tape with clear nail polish.You should get the tweeter replaced it will affect the sound. As a fix you can try a small piece of medical gauze (it is light weight) and affix it with clear nail polish, this should seal the crack and stop it from rattling. This will not last for ever as the polish will eventually crack .
