http://www.vincent-boschet.de/hush/hush....You really cant liquid cool the lamp in a projector. The best solution is to duct the exhaust port out of the area. There are companies that make systems of exactly what you need. You take out the projectors fan and then attach a duct to it and there is a fan at the other end to vent it into a remote location. Just be sure where you vent it the air can escape other wise your just pressurizing a space and then the system will fail.I had a liquid cooled system on my PB 8600 and I didn't really notice a diffrent. still shut off at about the same time. I put two fans blowing on it. One going towards the air intake and one just under it to cool the hottest part of the projector I found. they were $5 fans from Wal*Mart.The fan noise on the FX51 when the brightness is set to "normal" is downright intolerable. However, should you set it to the econ or "low" light setting, there's a noticeable drop in fan noise, along with diminished brightness. So, there will be a tradeoff: low fan noise with a slight darkened image.
