How do I turn on television cable in multiple rooms?

We have basic cable at our house and there are cable lines run to every bedroom and the living room. Right now the cable is only "turned on" in the living room. We just purchased a tv for our bedroom and I was wondering if there was a way to activate the cable in there without having to call the cable company.Find where the cable enters your house. You should be able to follow it to a point where all the lines come together. You may have to add a two way splitter on the cable input line which is right now connected to your one working line and then hook-up the now working line and the new line to the splitter outputs. You can get a splitter at Radio Shack or any TV store.
